The US Asian Business Council is a non-profit organization committed to serving your institution as a strategic partner advocating and developing mutually beneficial relationships amongst the Asian Business community, government institutions, and corporations in the United States and abroad.

The US Asian Business Council works to advocate policies and programs that grow and support Asian Businesses in the global marketplace.


Programs for the US Asian Business Council

1.) International Leadership Luncheons

In partnership with local cities, chambers of commerce, and government offices a series of luncheons to promote and highlight partnerships here in the United States and countries in Asia. (ie the US Asian Business Council will be embarking on a five city tour with the Ambassador of China and followed by a tour with the Ambassador of India)

2.) Capacity Building in our Communities

In partnership with our corporate sponsors, government agencies and the National Center for Community development, the US Asian Business Council is a partner for the Regional NEXT Conferences around the country. The purposes of the conferences are to promote and enhance effective public/private partnerships to grow the economic development organizations and small businesses of our community.

3.) Entrepreneurial and Small Business Development Centers

The US Asian Business Council is working to establish strategic offices in various cities around the country to support the development of small businesses and entrepreneurship in the Asian Pacific American community. Centers will help clients learn what it means to write a business plan, get a loan, find clients, etc.....  All services are free. Pilot programs are being launched in Chicago and Houston.

 

4.) Symposiums and Business Events

In partnership with local Asian Chambers of Commerce around the United States, the US Asian Business Council will conduct a series of symposiums to address important issues affecting our business community today.  The three symposiums/breakfast meetings will include:

  1. The State of Asian Pacific American Business in the United States today
  2. CEO Breakfast: highlighting the achievements of Asian Pacific American serving in leadership positions in our country (government, nonprofit,corporations)
  3. Women in Business: In partnership with other national Asian Pacific American organizations, events will highlight the work and achievements of Asian Pacific American business leaders and entrepreneurs.
  4. DC Summit held annually bringing together Asian Pacific American business leaders with our government officials in our nation’s capital.

5.) Policy and Research

In partnership with the US Asia Center in Washington DC the US Asian Business Council will conduct research, campaigns, and policy papers to highlight issues facing Asian Businesses here in the United States and abroad. Briefing, meetings, and also symposiums will be conducted to highlight and make aware of these issues.
